The iPhone doesn't come with a printed user guide, but that doesn't mean one doesn't exist. You just need to know where to look for it. All iPhone models are relatively similar when it comes to hardware. It's the software that's different. Apple releases a user guide that covers all models that can run the latest operating system every time a major new version of iOS comes out. Apple produces other instructional materials, such as product and safety information and QuickStart user guides, for each model.

Identify which model you have below, and then download the user guide you need. This extensive iPhone user guide includes full instructions for how to use your iPhone. If you're looking for a traditional manual, this is it. Apple produces a new version for every major iOS release. Available editions of the user guide are here. For complete information, use the iOS guides to get full directions for all of your phone's features and abilities. The iPhone 12 is the latest edition of Apple's flagship smartphone.

While it's similar to previous models, especially the iPhone 11 series , in many ways, it also introduces some significant changes, including 5G integration, a LIDAR sensor, improved photos and videos, Super Retina XDR, design enhancements, new processors, and more.

Here's some more information on this series. The version of the iPhone added more cameras and features to the smartphone. These documents provide guidance on how to use the devices' features, safety information, and more.

Here's more information on this series. Just as with the iPhone 6 and 6S, the documentation for the iPhone 7 and 8 consists of a single PDF with basic safety information in it. You can also find that information for the wireless AirPod earbuds, as well as a quick start for the headphones.

The documentation for the Plus models of these series is also a single document. You won't find much, just some basic safety and warranty details. That's probably the easiest way to tell which version you have.

The iPhone 6 line included "S" upgrades and the first "Plus" versions of the phone. The iPhone 6 Plus and 6S Plus are similar. You won't find much in their documents. It's basic legal information. The user guides above are more instructional and better for regular users.

Like their larger siblings, the iPhone 6 and 6S are essentially the same device with some minor changes. And, like those models, the information is almost strictly legal and won't help you learn how to use the iPhone. The iPhone 5 was the first iPhone with a screen larger than the 3.

This one has a 4-inch screen. At the same time the phone debuted, Apple introduced its new EarPods, replacing the old earbuds that came with earlier iPhones. Documents here include some quick tips for using the iPhone 5 and instructions for using the EarPods. The available documentation for it is the same kind of basic legal information as for the 6 and 6S series models.

The iPhone 5C can be identified by the brightly colored plastic housing used on its back. It's the same size as the iPhone 5; except for the housing, it's almost the exact same phone. Like the 5S and 6 series, its download is legal content. The iPhone 4 became famous—or, more rightly, infamous—for the "death grip" problem with its antenna.

You probably won't find mention of that in either of these downloads. The iPhone 4S introduced Siri to the world. When this model debuted, it was the only way to get Apple's personal assistant.

The downloads here include quick tips for using the phone as well as basic legal information. The iPhone 3G's core improvement was support for 3G wireless networks, something the original model lacked. The PDFs here provide legal information and basic operating tips.

The 3GS model introduced the iPhone's naming pattern to the world. That is, the first model of a new generation is a number, and the second model adds an "S. The 3GS offered a faster processor and faster cellular data, among other things. Actively scan device characteristics for identification.

Your ThermoPro thermometer and hygrometer are outfitted with many different features. Remove the covers by using a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws holding each cover in place.

Now, place two AAA batteries into the display unit and each sensor. Replace the cover on the display unit, and re-tighten the screws. Now, find the channel selector near the battery compartment on the sensor, and set it to channel one. Once you have selected the proper channel, you should notice that the sensor and the display unit have automatically synchronized. You can tell that they have synchronized by the flashing red light on the sensor and the radio signal on the display unit. They should both be visible and flashing.

You may now replace the battery cover on the sensor. If you would like to sync more sensors to the display unit, you will have to insert batteries into them, turn them onto channel one, and press the sync button.

Once your display unit is synchronized to your sensor, hang the sensor in the area that you want to monitor, and you should receive your first readings within a few moments. Your ThermoPro thermometer and hygrometer will display the humidity and temperature of outdoor environments, and it will display the humidity and temperature of any indoor areas that you have sensors in.

Being able to change between Fahrenheit and Celsius measurements is easy with all ThermoPro indoor thermometers and hygrometers. On models that include a touchscreen, there is a small tile that changes between the two measurement scales when pressed. This feature is mostly seen on the TP thermometer. Other models have a button on the front that is labeled with Fahrenheit and Celsius symbols.

To switch between the two, you just have to press the button. A good example of this is the TP ThermoPro thermometers include a recording feature. The recording feature can display all-time highs and lows, and it can display the temperatures recorded over the last 24 hours. To switch between the two recording modes, you can simply press the all-time button. The button is located on the back of some older models. Once the button is pressed, it will automatically cycle between its recorded temperatures every few seconds.

To switch from all-time mode to hour mode, you simply have to press the button again. Newer models have a touchscreen. To cycle between recording modes on a TP or any other touchscreen model, you can simply press the time button on the touchscreen. All ThermoPro indoor and outdoor thermometers include a reset button on the front or back of their sensor stations and display units.

A model that has a reset button mounted on the back will have to be removed from your wall, and its back cover will have to removed with a Phillips screwdriver to access its reset button.

ThermoPro indoor and outdoor thermometers and hygrometers have four screws holding their battery covers in place, and each sensor you own has four screws, too. Be careful not to remove the rubber seal that outlines the battery compartment. Now, remove the batteries that are in the unit, and put in your new batteries.

Make sure you match the positive ends of your batteries with the positive ends of the battery compartment. Put the battery cover onto the display unit, and screw each of the four screws back into their slots. Before tightening the cover, make sure the rubber seal is properly seated in its groove. Every function is mapped to a simple button scheme, and some models have a touchscreen to help you use their most vital functions without ever having to mess with the back of them.

Replacement Bulb and Valve Combo. Find a comfortable and appropriate location to take your blood pressure. Sit in a chair next to a table. Rest your left forearm on the table. Position your left arm so that it rests at about heart level. Keep the palm of your hand facing up. Sit up straight. Your back should be against the back of the chair and your legs should be uncrossed. Part 2. Locate your pulse. When you press lightly you should be able to feel the pulse of your brachial artery from this position.

If you have difficultly locating your pulse, place the head of the stethoscope the round piece at the end of the tube in the same general area and listen until you can hear your heartbeat. Wrap the cuff around your arm. Tuck the cuff end through the metal loop and slide it onto your upper arm. The cuff should be roughly 1 inch 2. Make sure that your skin is not pinched by the cuff as you wrap it securely. The cuff should have heavy duty velcro on it, which will hold the cuff closed. Check the tightness of the cuff by slipping two fingertips underneath.

If you can wiggle the two fingertips under the top edge but cannot wedge your full fingers beneath the cuff, the cuff is tight enough. If you can wedge your full fingers under the cuff then you need to open up the cuff and pull it tighter before closing it again. Slide the head of the stethoscope under the cuff. The head should be face down, with the wide part of the chest piece in contact with the skin. It should be positioned directly over the pulse of your brachial artery that you found earlier.

The earpieces should face forward and point toward the tip of your nose. Position the gauge and the pump. The gauge needs to be positioned where you can see it. If taking someone else's blood pressure, you can hold the gauge in whatever position you want as long as you can see the face of the gauge clearly.

You should hold the pump in your right hand. Turn the screw on the pump bulb clockwise to close the airflow valve, if necessary. Part 3. Inflate the cuff. Stop once the gauge reads 30 to 40 mmHg above your normal blood pressure.

If you do not know your normal blood pressure, inflate the cuff until the gauge reads between to mmHg. Deflate the cuff. Open the airflow valve by twisting the screw counterclockwise.

Let the cuff deflate gradually. The gauge should fall 2 mm, or two lines on the gauge, per second. Listen for the systolic reading. Note the measurement on your gauge at the precise moment you hear your heartbeat again. This measurement is your systolic reading. Systolic blood pressure refers to the force your blood exerts against the artery walls as your heart pumps.

Listen for the diastolic reading. Note the measurement on your gauge at the precise moment the sound of your heartbeat disappears. Diastolic blood pressure refers to your blood pressure in between heartbeats. Rest and repeat the test. Let the cuff completely deflate.
